DEA Office: June 18, 1971, the day an infamous term was coined, “The War On Drugs," one that would represent what government mismanagement and policy failure could look like. This could not have been better reflected in the government agency than to the DEA. With many hundreds of lives lost, The federal expenditure of billions of taxpayer dollars only prolongs the “Long Defeat” of the government and associated branches to defeat drugs on the street, with the general consensus that the “drugs” have won the war, with zero results or change to show for, it has been an abject failure.
The DEA has been rife with mismanagement and terrible tactics for the better part of the last 15 years in the greater Wythesson County area. Utilising tactics like “gunwalking," and implanting agents into gang areas to be moles, only to discover they have been selling drugs and actively committing crimes without a means to end. With a new head of the administration for the state, they aim to cover up misdeeds with effective tactics and better management, using hard work and results to catch their mistakes and lock the criminals poisoning the streets.
Cartel Branch: The Cartels realistically control the lives of everyone within their territory. With many gangs and families settling and consolidating power, they now look towards their northern neighbor for new territory. With as little direct control wanted as possible, frontman were scouted and placed in powerful positions throughout the greater Wythesson County area. Utilizing a decommissioned Federal Prison as a linchpin location to hold the fledgling new network of drug runners and crime, the newly appointed heads of the Wythesson County Branch of the Gringola Cartel wants to prove their worth, collecting money and weapons to strengthen their position in the state, and to please their benefactors just south of the border.
Bounty Hunters/Contractors: Working directly with the Wythesson County's largest Bail Bond companies, a coalition of Bounty Hunters and Private Contractors have taken up arms to collect on what is the largest potential payday they may ever encounter. Between collecting the dirty laundry on the Wythesson DEA and the heads and unmarked money of the Gringola Cartel, working with either side or screwing them completely are both viable options, as the race to grab as much pay as possible in this borderline is free for all may never happen ever again.
