Investigative equipment that will be available for use:

EMF Detector – The EMF Detector (also known as a “K-II Meter” due to the reliability and popularity of that brand) is a handheld device that is used for detecting electromagnetic waves. These waves are given off by electronic devices. This device may be used to communicate with a spirit by detecting its energy and allowing it to communicate by triggering the device where no interference is present.

Pendulum – The pendulum is a gemstone attached to a short length of chain and acts as a conduit for the energy of the spirit to interact with the energy of a person. The pendulum is held by the end of the chain between the forefinger and thumb of the user. The user will place their other hand below the pendulum to create energy for the spirit to interact with. The pendulum is first used by asking a spirit to show what it’s “yes” and “no” answers are. These answers may come in the form of the pendulum swinging from side to side, swirling in a circle, standing still, or vibrating. The pendulum may be used for communication involving “yes” and “no” answers, as well as indicating directions of travel.

Dowsing Rods – Dowsing rods are copper, right angle devices that are held firmly in each hand. In much the same way as the pendulum, dowsing rods are conduits which allow the energy of the spirit to interact with your energy. The dowsing rods are first used by asking a spirit to show what it’s “yes” or “no answers are. The dowsing rods may stay still, swing in opposing directions, swing in the same direction, or cross each other. The dowsing rods may be used for “yes” and “no answers”, as well as indicating directions of travel.

REM-POD – The REM-POD is a cylindrical device with 5 lights and an antenna on top. The REM-POD creates a short field of electromagnetic energy that, when broken, results in the flashing of one of the 4 outer lights and an audible alarm. The REM-POD also detects temperatures changes of +5 degrees/-5 degrees. When this change in temperature is detected, the REM-POD will sound an audible alarm and activate the light in the center. REM-PODS may be used for “yes” and “no” communication, as a motion detector, or detect a spirit’s presence through warm or cold spots nearby.

Maglite – The Maglite is a brand of flashlight that operates by twisting the head portion to complete a circuit for use. If the flashlight head is twisted into position just before completing the circuit, a spirit can use its energy to complete the circuit, thereby turning the flashlight on. This piece of equipment is useful for sessions where a spirit can complete the circuit for “yes” answers, and leave the circuit broken for “no” answers.

SB7 – The SB7 spirit box is a handheld Instrumental Trans-Communication (ITC) device that scans AM/FM radio frequencies at a specified rate that can be customized. A spirit may manipulate the frequencies to speak directly or answer questions.

Phasmabox – The Phasmabox is a piece of ITC software that is installed onto a tablet. The software functions by utilizing a mixture of sound banks and optional internet radio frequencies. The sound banks may allow a spirit to select a word to speak directly, while the sweep of frequencies may allow a spirit to speak directly or answer questions without selecting any words from the word bank. The Phasmabox does not contain the “white noise” you might hear with other ITC devices, such as the SB7.
